Care for feminist infrastructure.
Provide tools and services for other collectives.
Learn together + from each other.
If you want to, share
your name, pronouns,
location
and why you joined this workshop.
What do you think of,
when you hear Feminist Infrastructure?
Doing things collaboratively,
not in isolation.
Learning things together,
not just RTFM.
No frictionless service-provider,
but still dependable infrastructure.
Being part of communities,
resonating with the Feminist Server Manifesto(s).
BBB, Signal, Zulip
for meeting and communicating
Cryptpad, Dokuwiki
for writing and sharing knowledge
Git, Gopass
to communalize access
Ansible and Tmux
for building our infrastructure
and working together real-time
Writing our Infrastructure
Infrastructure is defined in code,
every server has a name,
but servers are reproducible, re-buildable.
Sharing our Shells
No longer alone in the shell, but taking turns typing
We don’t like how they shape our way of collaborating.
We don’t want to support the organizations that provide them.
They are built on extractivism and exploitation.
Nobody is surprised by that.
Let’s weave some knowledge together
What have we found?
